This project is funded through Families and Community Services NSW and is developing and evaluating resources designed to integrate activities that enhance parenting partnership quality into the usual exchanges that occur between child disability services and parents. Although most parenting partnerships operate between a child’s biological parents there are many variations – such as single parents and their supports, and those that develop in blended families. The resources developed in this project are designed to work with all manner of parenting partnership. The Shared Journeys Project aims to develop and evaluate a range of resources and processes that can be used, at minimal expense, during the usual interactions that occur between families and services.
